View allI'm worried about my left eye. It feels like something is pulling it from behind, on the temporal side, especially when I take off my glasses to read. I've been using spectacles for myopia since I was 18, and my current prescription is 4 for the left eye and 3 for the right, which Ive had for about 3 months now. Is this something I should be worried about? What could be causing this feeling?
The sensation of your left eyeball being pulled from behind on the temporal side when removing glasses for reading may be related to eye strain, convergence insufficiency, or accommodative spasm, which can occur due to prolonged near vision tasks; consider consulting an eye care professional for a comprehensive evaluation, and discuss potential corrective measures, such as adjusting your glasses prescription, incorporating eye exercises, or using reading glasses with a different power.

I recently had an eye exam and learned my eye pressure is pretty high. During the visit, the doctor asked if anyone in my family had glaucoma, and after I mentioned my optic nerve, she said there's a slight issue but not to worry. I'm curious, can I still do exercises like push-ups, pull-ups, and intense cardio? Is it okay to hit the gym, or could these activities affect my eye pressure?
If your IOP is high do not do heavy workouts and maintain healthy life style, ask your doctor for resolving the issue and have a regular follow up as you have family risk of galucoma

I'm really worried because my eyes get really watery whenever I'm exposed to light for too long. It becomes really noticeable, like when I have a retina checkup and the doctor uses that bright torch light. My eyes just start tearing up a lot, and it seems like they're getting more sensitive to light over time. Im curious to know what might be causing this issue and what I can do to fix it. Could you help me understand what's happening and how it can be treated?
