Hey, so I found out that my right ovary has a 3cm cyst and the left one is polycystic. The doctor put me on Ovral G for 21 days, but I'm a bit worried since I know it's a birth control pill. Do you think this might affect my ability to have kids in the future?

Your concerns about fertility with a 3cm cyst on one ovary and polycystic changes on the other are understandable. Here's what you should know:
-
Ovarian cysts of this size are often benign and may not impact fertility significantly. Many women with small cysts conceive without issues.
-
Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) can affect ovulation, but with proper management, many women with PCOS have successful pregnancies.
-
Ovral G, a combined oral contraceptive, is often prescribed to regulate menstrual cycles and manage symptoms. It does not cause permanent infertility; fertility usually returns after stopping the medication.
-
It's important to follow up regularly with your gynecologist to monitor the cyst and manage PCOS effectively.
If you have concerns about fertility, discussing them with your doctor can help tailor a plan suited to your needs and reassure you about your reproductive health.

View allI'm really worried about my cousin's situation because her amniotic fluid levels have been decreasing again. She had it at 4.6 cm at 32 weeks, then after taking the L-arginine sachets three times a day, it went up to 8.6 cm by 34 weeks. But now it's down to 4 cm again at 36 weeks. The baby's growth and blood supply looked normal in the Doppler scan. The doctor said to have another scan in 4 days. Why might the fluid be going down again, and does this mean she'll still be able to have a normal delivery?

I'm trying to understand what Susten 300 tablets are used for. Are they meant to help with getting my period on track or are they more for supporting pregnancy? I'm a bit confused about this and would really appreciate some guidance.
Susten 300mg contains progesterone, which is a endogenous hormone in the human body. It can be used in various conditions, including to support early pregnancy or for the treatment of dysmenorrhea (irregular periods).

I'm feeling kind of anxious about my wife's recent obstetrical scan. It showed a single live fetus in the cephalic position at 29 weeks with a mature grade III placenta in the upper segment. Is it still possible for us to go through a normal vaginal delivery with these findings?
