Hi Experts, My wife is 34 weeks pregnant and has gestational diabetes. Her recent urine report showed ketones. We are concerned about potential risks to both the baby and mother. Please advise on management and next steps?

Ketones in urine during pregnancy with GDM may suggest inadequate calorie intake or poor glucose control. This needs close monitoring as it can impact fetal well being.
Dr. Bhanu Suggests...
Take a URINE KETONES (RANDOM) Test or Take a GLUCOSE FASTING & PP Test
