Hi, I am going for GAMCA medicals and, to be sure, I did a blood test locally. The results show my SGPT is 100. Can anyone with experience of GAMCA let me know if this slight increase will be acceptable for clearance?

SGPT 100 is high for GAMCA clearance. Avoid alcohol, oily, spicy foods. Rest well, hydrate. Repeat LFT in 1 to 2 weeks. Consult doctor if still high before GAMCA.

View allI have been experiencing stomach pain and recently underwent a CT Enterography and MR Elastography, which showed that my liver is enlarged to 22.3 cm and my spleen to 14 cm. I am also having body pain, fatigue, and right side abdominal pain, especially when sitting. Recently, I have noticed significant bleeding as well. My doctor has advised me to do liver function tests (LFT) and thyroid tests in the coming week.

My 16 year old son has been suffering from high fever (104F) and headache for the past 6 days. Yesterday we consulted a doctor. His CBC and urine reports are normal. Malaria and typhoid tests are negative. Platelet count is 1.75 lakhs, SGOT is 65, and SGPT is 70. The doctor prescribed Dolo 650 (three times a day) and Mahacef Plus (twice a day). The fever temporarily decreases after Dolo but rises back to 104F after 4 hours. What could be the reason for the persistent high fever and the increased SGOT and SGPT? What should be done next?

The liver is enlarged, measuring 17.5 cm. No dilated PV or IHBR is noted. There is a thin walled large anechoic cyst in the right lobe measuring 10.5 x 9.3 x 9.6 cm3. No membrane or daughter cyst is noted. Platelets are low at 68,000/cu mm. RBC and WBC counts are also low. My question is, what is the solution to this problem? Is it risky? Please answer me.
