Hi I had dengue six days ago but now I am feeling perfectly fine. I just did a blood report but the platelet count is still low. Why is this happening?

After dengue, platelet count can stay low for 1 to 2 weeks even if you feel better. It usually rises naturally. Keep yourself hydrated and avoid exertion or injury.

My friend has had a fever for the last 3 days, along with headache and joint pain. He consulted a doctor, who prescribed some medication for the fever and suggested tests. His Dengue IgG and IgM tests came back negative, but the Dengue NS1 test is positive. What does this mean? How serious is it, and can dengue be treated effectively at this early stage? Please provide guidance as soon as possible.
