Question
Hi, I had an NT scan at 11 weeks and 5 days. My report shows a diastolic notch in both uterine arteries. The doctor suggested taking Ecosprin. Does this mean I have high blood pressure, or will it increase in the future? How can I reduce it? Please suggest.

Diastolic notching suggests slight resistance in blood flow to the uterus, which may increase the risk of high BP or growth restriction later in pregnancy. Ecosprin a low dose aspirin, improves blood flow and is safe in pregnancy when prescribed. It does not mean you currently have BP. Stay active, eat low salt meals, and monitor BP regularly.
