Hi, I recently received my ANC profile which shows low MCHC but elevated RDW CV and RDW SD values, while my hemoglobin is 12.7. I maintain a very healthy lifestyle with regular strength training and cardio, and I avoid fried and junk food. I am worried about the cause, some articles suggest deficiencies in folate, iron, or vitamin B12, but I have been taking folvite for the last 10 days. Since folic acid is crucial for the baby CNS development, I am quite anxious and want to know how to correct these values. Given my age and my father history of bypass surgery, my doctor has also prescribed daily heparin injections, which I have been taking for the last 4 days. Please advise on what I can do to bring these values back to normal. I have attached my report

Low MCHC and high RDW values can sometimes suggest early iron, folate, or B12 deficiency. You are already taking folvite, that is great. These levels take time to improve. Continue a diet rich in leafy greens, lentils, eggs, and citrus fruits. Ask your doctor if you should also get B12 and iron supplements.

I have vitamin B12 deficiency and my blood report says I have only 35 pg per ml of vitamin B12. I am taking Rejunuron injection once every two days and Neurobion Forte tablet for 10 days and D3 Must tablet once a week. Hi, For the past two days, I have been noticing yellow mucus when I spit for the first time in the morning. Last month, I had a complete blood test done, and the only abnormality was slightly elevated lymphocytes. I have Gilbert syndrome and vitamin B12 deficiency, while my vitamin D levels are normal. I have also been experiencing pain in both knees for the past 15 days. I got an Xray done, but the doctor said everything looks normal. I am currently taking Shelcal HD and A to Z daily. Could this indicate any inflammation or infection in my body? Is yellow mucus in the first spit normal?
