Paratyphi BH: 1:20 Total WBC Count: 12,200 cells/cu.mm Platelet Count: 2.71 lakhs/cu.mm Could you please help me interpret these results? Do they indicate typhoid infection or something else?

O 1:160 may indicate recent typhoid exposure. Raised WBC supports infection. Clinical correlation needed; antibiotic only if symptomatic.

Take a Widal Test Test or Take a CBC Test (Complete Blood Count) Test

My son Widal blood test indicates that Salmonella Typhi (H) value is 1:40 dilution and is declared positive by the lab. I have learned that if it is more than 1:60, it means he is infected. Is this correct? He does not have any other problems except high fever of 103 and headache, but the fever repeats at four hour intervals.
