Hi. From Monday onwards my fever has been fluctuating a lot, sometimes 104 and sometimes 99. I am having body and joint pain in my legs. I have a swollen tonsillar lymph node, but it does not hurt. I went to the hospital and they say it is viral fever. My blood results show low lymphocytes, high polymorphs, and high ESR. Can anyone please explain what my report and condition imply?

Likely viral fever with inflammatory response. High ESR and polymorphs support this. Continue hydration, rest, and monitor fever. If persists beyond 5 to 7 days, retest.

Take a CBC Test (Complete Blood Count) Test or Take a CRP Test (C - Reactive Protein) Test

View allSir, I have pain in my head and neck, so I went to a general physician. He suggested a CBP. I have attached the blood report. My WBC is slightly high. Is this dangerous? How can I detect infection or disease in my body? Please guide me.

Dear doctor, if typhoid is positive in the lab report, is hospital admission required, or can I take antibiotic injections in the morning and evening on a day care basis like a general OP patient? Please advise. If admission and IV fluids are required, how many days will it take to cure?

My father has easily bruising skin during a particular season. There is no pain or itching. We have done a blood report which shows a low platelet count that may indicate a purpura like condition.
