Hi Sir, she is 28 years old. The report shows skin induration 18 mm and erythema present. What does this report indicate? Please tell me which medicine is suggested.

This suggests a positive Mantoux test, indicating TB exposure. It is not diagnostic of active TB. Further evaluation with a chest X ray and physician consult is needed.
Dr. Dhankecha Suggests...
Take a CBC+ESR Test or Take a TB Gold Test Test

View allHello doctor, my Mantoux test was done two days ago. I attached pictures. Can you please tell me if it is positive or negative? Today the pathology lab where my test was done is closed for 2 days, so please help me. My past history: I was diagnosed with tuberculosis 2 years ago and completed my full course. After doctor consultation, medicine was stopped after 1 year. Again, due to pain in my full body, my physician advised this test. Can you please tell me the result?

I am suffering from pleurisy tuberculosis and have been on DOTS for the last 3 months. Yesterday I did a USG thorax to check improvement which shows a 48 by 24 mm sized area of organized loculated pleural effusion with thick septa and pleural thickening at the right costophrenic angle. Is there any improvement in my report or is it something serious? I am still having mild fever of 99.3?

I am a 23 year old girl suffering from XDR lymphatic tuberculosis and I have been on medication for the last 13 months. The medicines are moxifloxacin, clofazimine, delamanid, bedaquiline and cycloserine. I took capreomycin injection for 8 months. My reports are negative now but I am suffering from body ache, weakness in legs and hands, and breathlessness. My period is due in the next 3 to 4 days. Why is this happening and what should I do?
