How do I know if my lungs are damaged?
More Pulmonology/ Respiratory Medicine Health Queries
View allI'm really concerned because I've been dealing with constant colds, coughs, and I've just been feeling so weak and tired all the time. Sometimes I have trouble breathing, and I've noticed that I get chest pain regularly. Traveling seems to make things worse as I often get sick after. Even a bit of physical work leaves me exhausted. A doctor mentioned that 20% of my lungs aren't working properly. I'm trying to figure out if there's any effective treatment for allergic asthma and if there's any way my lungs can fully recover. Could you provide some guidance or suggestions on what I might do? I'm really hoping to hear something reassuring.
yes there are medications for asthma , if he isa young his lung can become normal

I'm feeling really concerned because I've had chest congestion for almost two months now. Whenever I take a deep breath, there's this tightness in my airway, and it almost always triggers a cough. Most of the time, it's a dry cough, but sometimes there's some phlegm too. I haven't tried any medication yet, just some natural remedies. This seems to happen once a year for the past few years. Should I be worried, or is there something specific I should be doing?
Ecg and x-ray chest pa view is advised to the patient.

I'm 21 and have been dealing with wheezing for the past 5 months. I've seen several doctors and they all mention it's due to mucus build-up. They prescribed me some tablets, and I've completed the course, but it's still not getting better. A few have also mentioned that I have a condition called pigeon chest, and that this could be why recovery is taking so long. I'm really tired of taking meds with no relief. What can I do to actually get better?
Physiotherapy opinion is advised. Also chest arthosis and bracing is advised to the patient.
