I am 23 years old, and my recent thyroid test results are: TSH: 4.826, T3: 3.26, T4: 1.02. Am I considered to have thyroid disorder? Should I change my diet? I am unable to eat rice and have to eat smaller meals.

Your TSH is 4.826, which is just above the normal limit this may indicate mild hypothyroidism. T3 and T4 are in normal range, so no medicine may be needed right now. You do not need to avoid rice or eat very little food. Focus on balanced meals, regular sleep, and iodine rich foods like eggs, dairy, and whole grains.

View allHello, my name is Kavya. I recently had a thyroid test done and would like to know if my results indicate any thyroid issues or if I need to start any medication. My report shows, T3 total is 129.5, T4 total is 5.00, and TSH is 3.85.

The latest thyroid test report shows T3 91.05 ng/dl, T4 10.20 microgram/dl, and TSH 0.950 microIU/ml. She was taking 125 mg Thyronorm tablets until the latest test report on 8th September. The tablet was initially recommended when TSH was 7.17 microIU/ml. Since the levels are now normal, can the medication be stopped or should the dose be reduced?
