I am 34 years old and currently 5+ weeks pregnant. My recent blood tests show IgG CMV at 339 IU/mL (positive) and IgG CMV Rubella positive. My thyroid T4 is low at 0.852. I am anxious as my blood tests show these infections. Should I continue with the pregnancy? This is my second pregnancy and my first child is a 4 years old.

IgG positive means past infection, not current. Low T4 needs monitoring & thyroid meds. Continue pregnancy with specialist guidance.
Dr. Rohinipriyanka Suggests...

View allI am planning for pregnancy. Last year, in the 32nd week, I had a miscarriage due to CMV IgG and IgM being positive. Today we did a TORCH test for the next pregnancy. The results are Rubella IgG 67.90 IU/ml, IgM 0.40; CMV IgG greater than 250.0 AU/ml, IgM 2.43. I am worrying about this. Can I plan for pregnancy? Please help.

My pregnancy is 8 weeks and 2 days today and my early pregnancy scan shows everything is fine with a bpm of 173 and a CRL of 16 mm. However, my TORCH test report showed Rubella IgM 1.65 and IgG 0.30. I have had no fever, rash, or symptoms. The doctor suggested this test because at 6 weeks of pregnancy the fetal bpm was 107, but in today scan it is 173. Is rubella a cause of concern? Please suggest.

My wife blood test report shows Rubella values: IgG 4.76 and IgM 0.57. Are these values normal before planning a family? Should we be worried about the IgG value, as we have heard that abnormal Rubella values can cause cerebral palsy related problems in the child? We might have already conceived. Please advise on Rubella values.
