I am 4.5 months pregnant and have a thyroid condition. My current TSH level is 4.13. For the past 2 to 3 days, I have been experiencing mild stomach cramps and stretching sensations in my lower abdomen. Is this normal during pregnancy?

Mild cramps/stretching normal in pregnancy. If severe pain/bleeding, see doctor. TSH 4.13 is slightly high in pregnancy. Doctor may adjust thyroid dose. Do Thyroid Profile (TSH, T3, T4).

I am 38 years old, weigh 76 kg, and am 5.9 inch tall. I take 25 mcg Thyronorm for mildly elevated thyroid levels, a dosage that was initially suggested during my pregnancy in 2016 to maintain TSH around 3 to 4. About 8 months ago, my TSH rose slightly above the range (5.4), and I continued the same dosage. I recently learned about the health benefits of basil seeds and have started consuming 2 teaspoons of soaked basil seeds in lemon water daily. However, I read that people with thyroid issues should consult their doctor before taking them. I also have high cholesterol. Could you please advise whether it is safe for me to continue taking basil seeds daily?
