I am a COVID recovered patient (recovered about one month ago). I recently received my liver function test results, which show that AST/SGOT is 44 and ALT/SGPT is 84, both slightly above the normal range. Could you please advise if this is something I should be concerned about? Is it possibly related to the recent COVID 19 infection, or should I undergo further tests or treatment?

Mild elevation in liver enzymes can happen post COVID. Stay hydrated, avoid alcohol or fatty food, and recheck after 2 to 3 weeks.

I am experiencing severe discomfort in the upper and middle abdomen, along with bloating and excessive gas. I am currently taking Nexpro L. My epigastric pain has not improved. I have attached my latest blood report and ultrasound. Could you please help me understand which organs might be involved, and whether I can take Rifaximin or Rifagut 200 mg for dyspepsia and gastritis? I would like guidance on the best treatment for dyspepsia, gastritis, and fatty liver.

Based on my report, could someone please suggest the best medicine to cure the imbalance in my liver? I am not an alcoholic and I always take a healthy diet. It could be the medicine I have been taking for the past month for my back pain that caused it? Kindly suggest.
