I am unmarried and have been experiencing irregular periods due to thyroid issues. My gynecologist prescribed Yasmin tablets for 21 days, starting from the 5th day of my period. I have completed the 21 day course today. Could you please advise when I can expect my next menstrual cycle?

After finishing 21 days of Yasmin, your period should start within 3 to 7 days. This is called withdrawal bleeding and is expected. If theres no bleeding after a week, inform your gynec. Thyroid issues can still affect your cycle, so regular monitoring is helpful.

I had withdrawal bleeding last month on 21st October as I had taken two unwanted 72 pills on 11th and 14th October. After that, I consulted a doctor and she said to take a home pregnancy test and that my periods may be irregular in the coming two months. I have taken 4 home pregnancy tests with Prega News and all 4 tests were negative, but I still have not got my periods. What should I do? Please help me out.

Hello, I am a 27 year old unmarried female. I had TB and asthma in December and completed treatment in June. I also received COVID vaccinations. Since then, I have been experiencing lighter periods that start about 5 days before my expected cycle (my cycle is 28 days). After taking ginger, jaggery, turmeric, and milk, my flow becomes normal. I am also taking vitamins and protein powder. Previously, I had no menstrual problems. My recent blood reports are: Bilirubin: 0.6 mg/dl Hemoglobin: 11.3 g/dl RBC: 4.58 million/microlitre Platelets: 325,000/cmm TLC: 7000 Serum protein: 8 g/dl ESR: 45 mm HIV: Non reactive Blood glucose: 91 mg/dl Serum IgE: 61.2 IU/ml Please suggest what could be causing these changes in my menstrual cycle.

I recently did a serum beta hCG test and want to understand the result. I think the test indicates a negative pregnancy result, but if I am not pregnant, what could be the reason for my missed period? My periods are usually regular, and this is the first time I have missed one.
