I got bitten by a rat at work about 27 days ago and accidentally scratched the wound too. I did wash it with water right away. My tetanus shot is up-to-date, but I never got any antirabies shots. Now the wound's healed completely. Do I need to do anything more about this?

I'm really worried about my brother. He's 21 and had a fever for a long time, and we found out he has TB in his neck. The doctors at the government hospital put him on a treatment with 6 rifampicin pills daily, and after 6 months the node size decreased from 43mm to 29mm. They told him to continue for another month, but after that, they didn't do any follow-up or further checkups before stopping the treatment. Is it normal to stop the treatment without checking if the infection is completely gone or if the node size has decreased more? Should we try to get more checkups to make sure everything's okay?

I'm really stressed out. I recently had my first sexual encounter with a commercial sex worker, and during ejaculation, the condom slipped and ended up hanging in her vagina. It's been 15 days since then and the anxiety has been eating at me. I'm really worried about the possibility of HIV transmission because of the slip-up. Do you think I should go for an HIV RNA test now, or is it better to wait for a while?

It's understandable to feel stressed after such an experience, but the risk of HIV transmission from a condom slip is generally low if the condom was used correctly. It's advisable to get an HIV test at 3 months for conclusive results, but if you're very concerned, you can consult with a healthcare provider about the possibility of post-exposure prophylaxis (PEP).

I'm a bit worried about my health. My Widal test results show a TO of 130 dilution and TH, AH, and BH are all negative. My fever hits around 99F twice a day. Do you think I might have typhoid, or could it be something else? What should I do next?
