I had a fistulectomy surgery three months ago and everything seems fully healed now, but I'm wondering about the proper way to clean the anal area during stool passing do you need to insert a finger inside to clean it? Just wanted to check what's safe post-surgery

After fistulectomy, gentle cleaning with water is sufficient. No need to insert fingers unless advised. Maintain hygiene to prevent recurrence.

I've had both external and internal piles for 3 days now with transparent sticky mucus discharge. The lump near my anus stays swollen and hard outside with mild pain and itchiness. Should I consider surgery at this point and how can I stop the mucus discharge?
As a doctor, I’d suggest starting with conservative treatment like high-fiber diet, plenty of fluids, warm sitz baths, and topical creams (like hydrocortisone or lidocaine). The mucus discharge and swelling often improve with these. Surgery isn't usually needed this early unless there’s severe pain, bleeding, or persistent prolapse. Do consult a surgeon if symptoms worsen or don’t improve in a week.

I've got grade 3 and grade 4 piles but they don't hurt, and there's no bleeding when I use the bathroom. However, after I'm done, I have to push the grade 3 piles back in. I'm wondering if there's any medication that can actually cure hemorrhoids. Is that possible?
It will reduce, sometimes surgery also needed.
