I had a frozen embryo transfer on 4th July. Initially, I experienced mild period like cramps, which have now stopped, but I still have occasional mild pelvic and lower back pain. I am taking all my medications as prescribed, including Crinone 8 percent progesterone gel. Since yesterday, I have had a burning sensation while urinating. Can I take a beta HCG test now to check if I am pregnant, or should I wait a few more days? I am really worried, please advise.

After frozen embryo transfer (FET), a Beta hCG blood test can be done 10 to 12 days post transfer for reliable pregnancy confirmation. Mild pelvic pain and lower back pain are common post transfer, but burning while urinating may indicate a UTI. Do a Urine Routine and Culture to rule out infection while continuing your medicines.
Dr. Bhanu Suggests...
Take a Beta HCG Test Test or Take a URINE ROUTINE + CULTURE SENSITIVITY Test

View allMy girlfriend and I had intercourse on 27th July and 10th August. Her last period started on 21st July, and her periods are usually regular. This time, she has not gotten her period. She took pregnancy tests on 24th, 26th, 27th, and 28th August, and all were negative. One doctor advised taking Meprate tablets, but I am still confused. Could she be pregnant, and is it safe to take Meprate in this situation? What should we do next?

I am 28 years old and just took a pregnancy test, which came back positive. I am feeling very anxious, extremely tired, and drowsy. I already have one child, 4.5 years old. Could you please advise what steps I should take next and any precautions I should follow at this stage?

Hi Doctor, I am writing on behalf of my wife. We are trying to conceive. Her last period started on 13th August, and her next period is due on 13th Sept. We went ahead and did an hCG blood test, and the result came back as 92. We also tried a urine pregnancy test, which showed a faint positive line. Does this mean she is pregnant? Can pregnancy be confirmed even before the missed period? We are a bit confused and not sure if we should celebrate yet. Please guide us.
