I had laparoscopic surgery on my stomach about two months ago and sometimes feel quick discomfort around the incision site it only lasts like 10-15 seconds. Is this normal after two months? How long might this last or should I get it checked out again?

View allI have an 11 mm supra umbilical hernia and need to decide between laparoscopic surgery with 2 ports and a 10-15 mm incision or open surgery. Both seem to have similar pain levels post-op. From a medical standpoint, which option would be better for me?
For an 11 mm supraumbilical hernia, laparoscopic surgery with two ports and a 10-15 mm incision is generally considered the better option from a medical standpoint. While both approaches can result in similar post-operative pain levels, laparoscopic repair typically leads to a faster recovery, a lower risk of complications, and potentially better cosmetic outcomes

Could surgical mesh be visible in imaging tests like X-rays, MRIs, or CT scans? I'm kind of concerned because I had a procedure with mesh recently, and I'm wondering if it shows up in these tests or if something might be wrong.
Surgical mesh is typically made of synthetic or biologic materials that can be visible on imaging tests, with varying degrees of clarity: X-rays may show mesh as a faint outline, CT scans can provide more detailed images, and MRIs may show mesh as a signal void or low-signal intensity area, but the visibility of mesh on imaging tests depends on the type of mesh, its location, and the imaging modality used.

Pinodal sinus treatment varies from surgical and non surgical methods..Conservative treatment includes good hygiene ,hair removal in the affected site and warm compresses and also antibiotics for atleast 5-7 days.Surgery includes flap closure and incision and incision and closure.
