I had LASIK surgery about a year ago but still have dryness and pain in my eyes. I've been using gentle care drops and gel for the past year, though not regularly. Is this normal or should I be concerned about something else going on?

My doctor noticed an old faint linear scar on my cornea during an exam but said it's normal and didn't suggest surgery why wouldn't they recommend removing it if it's a scar? Should I be concerned about it affecting my vision later?
