I had LASIK surgery about a year ago but still have dryness and pain in my eyes. I've been using gentle care drops and gel for the past year, though not regularly. Is this normal or should I be concerned about something else going on?

Can PRK surgery be detected during a railway medical exam since it's not allowed for the job I know LASIK is also banned but I'm more worried about PRK showing up on their eye tests
PRK can be detected during a railway medical exam, although it's not as easily detected as LASIK. While LASIK involves creating a flap that can be seen, PRK doesn't, making it more difficult to detect with standard slit lamp examinations. However, advanced tests like corneal topography can detect PRK, and some residual scarring from PRK can also be visible on slit lamp examination.
