I had protected sex with a commercial sex worker in Malaysia for the first time in my life. Out of fear I underwent PCR DNA test and Tridot test after 35 days. Both results were negative. Please suggest further help? I am suffering from anxiety and depression because of guilt.

You took the right steps protected sex and early HIV tests (PCR & Tridot) both came back negative. Thats very reassuring. For 100 percent peace of mind, take a 4th Gen HIV test at 6 weeks or 90 days. You are likely not infected. Its also okay to talk to a therapist if anxiety or guilt continues.

After 10 weeks (70 days) of unprotected sex with a sex worker, I took a 4th generation HIV assay test at SRL Lab, and the result was non reactive. How safe am I from HIV after 90 days? Is there any chance that the HIV test could become positive after 90 days? Can the SRL Lab report at 70 days be considered reliable? I have attached the report for reference.

Sir, I have a doubt regarding HIV testing. If a person tests negative at 6 months, 1 year, 5 years, or even 10 years after exposure, but later tests positive, is it true that this depends on the immune system? Does this mean there is no conclusive test for HIV?
