I had surgery last year for lower disc pain at L3 L4 L5 S1 and they removed the misplaced disc but the pain is still there especially on my left side Should I consider spine fusion surgery this time or are there other options I can try

It's understandable to consider spine fusion after a prior discectomy if pain persists. While fusion can be an option, it's crucial to explore other possibilities first, including physical therapy, medication management, and even alternative therapies like osteopathy or chiropractic care. A thorough evaluation by a spine specialist is essential to determine the root cause of your pain and develop the most appropriate treatment plan.

Can anyone suggest the best hospitals in Bangalore for herniated disc surgery? My orthopedic doctor recommended surgery soon but their facility isn't equipped for it, so I came to Bangalore. Also, can a herniated disc lead to something like scoliosis is that common?
For herniated disc surgery in Bangalore, consider these hospitals known for their spinal care: Ishaan Spine Hospital, Kauvery Hospital, Manipal Hospitals, and Fortis Hospital. Scoliosis is generally not directly caused by a herniated disc, but untreated herniated discs can affect spinal alignment and potentially worsen existing scoliosis

My dad is 55 and his MRI scan shows a brain tumor. The doctor recommended surgery and wants him admitted by Monday for quick treatment. Is surgery really necessary in this case? I'm worried and would like a second opinion from a neurosurgeon on whether this is the best option.
