I had thyroid problems, so I underwent surgery. My question is, do I still have to continue my thyroid tablets or not? Thank you.

After thyroid surgery, most people need to continue thyroid tablets for life to maintain normal thyroid hormone levels, especially if the whole thyroid was removed. Stopping the tablet without your doctors advice can lead to hormone imbalance and symptoms like weakness, weight changes, or hair loss. You can book a Thyroid Profile (TSH, T3, T4) test to check your current thyroid status, and your doctor will adjust your dose if needed. Do not stop or change the dose without medical guidance.

I had a sixteen day period flow last month. I visited a local doctor who prescribed medicine to stop the flow and asked me to visit a gynecologist if it continued. My flow stopped after taking the prescription. After a week, my flow started again, so I visited a gynecologist. The gynecologist said everything is normal and the flow may be due to hormonal changes or thyroid issues. He gave me a prescription and asked for a blood test to check thyroid. My flow stopped again after taking the prescription, and I got my blood tested. Currently, all hospitals in my area are full, so I could not visit the gynecologist to show my blood test report. I have attached my blood test report and the prescription. Please guide me about my condition now and future prescription if I get periods again with long flow duration?

Hello doctor, please find my recent thyroid test report attached. Please suggest if there is any abnormality? We are planning for a baby and I am currently not on any medication.
