I have a 12mm kidney stone stuck in my right upper ureter but I'm not feeling any pain how serious is this? If I opt for surgery, how long will the recovery take including bed rest? Can this be treated with laser therapy instead?

View allMy dad has kidney stones one is 7mm and the other is 15mm. Because of the bigger stone, his kidney has swollen a bit. Is homeopathic treatment a good option here? Can it actually cure stones this size, and how long might it take? He's really scared of surgery should we still consider it or is there another way?
Since the stone is larger in size ,percutaneous niphrolithotomy (PCNL) and uretroscopy is the gold standard procedure advised. A nephrologist opinion is advised for report review and further management of the patient .
