I have a 1.2x1.1 cm simple cortical cyst in the upper pole of my right kidney. The urologist prescribed norfloxacin 400mg twice daily for 5 days and mentioned surgery if it doesn't improve. I'm 64 and retired without a pension should I be worried about needing surgery or are there other options I can explore first

View allHey, I've been hitting the gym and my trainer suggested I start using whey protein. But I'm kinda worried if it could mess with my libido or even cause erectile dysfunction. Is it really safe to go ahead with whey protein?
Whey protein is generally safe for most people and does not directly cause loss of libido or erectile dysfunction. However, excessive protein intake can sometimes affect hormone levels or kidney function in some individuals. It's best to use it in moderation, and if you have any concerns, consulting with a healthcare provider is always a good idea.
