I have a 4.9 cm ovarian cyst on my left ovary and attached my scan report. Could you check and let me know if surgery is necessary or if it can be treated with medication? Also, is there a chance it might go away on its own with lifestyle changes?

Functional ovarian cysts usually go away without treatment. If your cyst is likely functional, your provider may suggest a wait-and-see approach. You may have a follow-up ultrasound within a few weeks or months after your diagnosis to see if your cyst is getting larger, smaller or changing in any other way.

Can you touch your cervix?
Your body position should allow you to easily reach your cervix. That may be sitting on the toilet, putting one leg up on the edge of the bathtub, or squatting. Reach your finger inside of your vagina. Use the index or middle finger and slowly slide your finger in as far as you can reach, in sort of an upward motion.

I had a bartholin cyst marsupialization done a month ago but there's still mild swelling and pain at the surgery site. It hurts when I sit down. How long until I fully recover?
While mild swelling and pain after a month of Bartholin cyst marsupialization is not unusual, it's important to determine if the symptoms are persistent or worsening. Generally, full recovery takes around 2-4 weeks
