I have been having fever and a little weakness for the past 5 days. I was prescribed medicines for the same. I did a blood checkup today. Urine and hematology reports reveal normal results. But results of WIDAL SLIDE mention S. Typhi 'O' as positive (1:80). Do I have typhoid? I am travelling out of the country in 3 days and need inputs asap.

A titer of 1:80 may indicate early typhoid or past exposure. If you are improving, continue meds. Stay hydrated. Repeat Widal or consider TyphiDot test if fever persists.
Dr. Yusuf Suggests...
Take a Widal Test Test or Take a Typhidot Test Test

I have attached my Widal test report. The test was done on the sixth day of the fever, which was around 103 degrees F. Please tell me whether it is typhoid or not, as I have received two different opinions from two doctors. I am very confused.
