I have been suffering from rheumatoid arthritis for the past year. Today, I developed a fever, and my doctor advised me to get a full CBC test. Could you please help me understand what is included in a CBC report and what the different values indicate about my health?

Likely meant CBC (Complete Blood Count). Fever in RA could indicate infection or disease flare up. CBC can show WBC levels and signs of inflammation. Consult your rheumatologist based on the report.

View allHi. My mother has been suffering from Rheumatoid Arthritis. We have been visiting a nearby doctor every month, but the condition seems to be the same. We are taking ESR and CRP tests in her blood report every month. According to the doctor, this will take time to improve, but it has been almost eight months, and we have not seen any improvement. Kindly help or suggest on this? Thanks in advance.

I am having pain in both knee joints, so I got my blood tests done for CRP, CPK, Aldolase, and ESR. The results are: ESR is 43, CPK is 80 U/L, Aldolase is 4.40 U/L, CRP is 14.80 mg/L. What do these results indicate about my knee pain?
