I have been suffering from thyroid issues for the past 6 months. Recently, I was also diagnosed with PCOD, and I have gained significant weight. I am trying to conceive and would like guidance on how to manage these problems so that I can improve my chances of pregnancy

Thyroid issues and PCOD can affect weight and fertility, but many women conceive with proper care. Keep thyroid levels in the normal range with medication as advised. For PCOD, focus on weight management with a healthy diet and regular exercise. A Thyroid Profile (TSH, T3, T4) and Hormonal Profile (LH, FSH, Prolactin, Insulin) will help your doctor adjust treatment and plan fertility steps. Tracking ovulation and regular follow up with your doctor will support your chances of conceiving naturally.
Dr. Hema Suggests...
Take a Thyroid Profile (T3 T4 TSH) Test Test or Take a FSH,LH & Prolactin, Serum Test

View allMy mother is 60 years old and has been taking Eltroxin 75 mcg for the past two months, as her TSH was 5.00 at that time. Prior to that, she had been taking Eltroxin 50 mcg for the last ten years. She recently had a thyroid test and the results are: T3: 0.90 ng/mL T4: 9.30 microgram/dL TSH: 16.23 mIU/L I do not understand why her TSH has increased so significantly despite taking her medication regularly. Please advise what steps we should take now.

I am under medication with 150 mg thyroxine for the past 8 months. Recently I took a blood report 15 days back which shows TSH 0.41, T3 3.9, and T4 1.05. Can you please tell me if these values are normal or not?

I have attached my recent thyroid blood test report. I am currently taking Thyronorm 100 mcg daily. Based on my report, could you please advise if my dosage should be adjusted?
