I have been suffering from thyroid issues for the past 6 months. Recently, I was also diagnosed with PCOD, and I have gained significant weight. I am trying to conceive and would like guidance on how to manage these problems so that I can improve my chances of pregnancy

Thyroid issues and PCOD can affect weight and fertility, but many women conceive with proper care. Keep thyroid levels in the normal range with medication as advised. For PCOD, focus on weight management with a healthy diet and regular exercise. A Thyroid Profile (TSH, T3, T4) and Hormonal Profile (LH, FSH, Prolactin, Insulin) will help your doctor adjust treatment and plan fertility steps. Tracking ovulation and regular follow up with your doctor will support your chances of conceiving naturally.
Dr. Hema Suggests...
Take a Thyroid Profile (T3 T4 TSH) Test Test or Take a FSH,LH & Prolactin, Serum Test

View allShe was diagnosed with hypothyroidism 2 years ago. She was prescribed to take Thyronorm 50 and was advised not to stop it. However, now her T3 and T4 levels are within the reference range. Today she had palpitations with quite a lot of sweat. She says she feels better if she does not take the prescribed tablet but she is afraid too. Please let me know what needs to be done. Attached are the last blood test reports.

My wife thyroid test report is attached. She has been taking Thyronorm 75 mg for seven years. Can the dose be reduced?
Answered by Apollo Doctors
My report says thyronormalcy and my fasting blood sugar is 104.8. However, I am having symptoms like weight gain, inch loss, loss of appetite, insomnia and increased thirst. I do not eat junk food, I walk daily and I am active in doing all work. Still my weight is 93 kilograms and my waist is 36 inches and still decreasing. What could this be? Kindly suggest?
