I have been taking Thyronorm 12.5 mcg for two months. Due to severe tiredness and sleepy feeling, I repeated TSH and Free T4 tests. TSH is 8.02 (Ref 0.4 to 4.2) and Free T4 is 1.17 (Ref 0.89 to 1.76). Previously, Anti Tg Antibody was high and TPO was normal. I am having tingling in both palms and feet. Fasting blood sugar is 82. I am taking Concor 5 mg for hypertension. Do I require a dose revision or further consultation?

Your TSH is still high (8.02) despite taking Thyronorm 12.5 mcg, suggesting the dose may be too low. Free T4 is in normal range, but the continued tiredness, sleepiness, and tingling need attention. The tingling in hands and feet may be due to Vitamin B12 or nerve issues. With a history of high Anti Tg antibodies, you likely have autoimmune thyroiditis.

Take a Vitamin B12 Test Test or Take a HbA1c Test (Hemoglobin A1c) Test

View allI am 38 years old, weigh 76 kg, and am 5.9 inch tall. I take 25 mcg Thyronorm for mildly elevated thyroid levels, a dosage that was initially suggested during my pregnancy in 2016 to maintain TSH around 3 to 4. About 8 months ago, my TSH rose slightly above the range (5.4), and I continued the same dosage. I recently learned about the health benefits of basil seeds and have started consuming 2 teaspoons of soaked basil seeds in lemon water daily. However, I read that people with thyroid issues should consult their doctor before taking them. I also have high cholesterol. Could you please advise whether it is safe for me to continue taking basil seeds daily?

I have been experiencing skin rashes on and off for the past 3 months and used Montair LC or Cetirizine whenever they appeared. When I visited a dermatologist, he prescribed an anti allergic medication for a month and suggested some tests. In those tests, my TSH came out as 7.5 microIU/mL.

My wife is pregnant with a duration of one month and twenty four days. We consulted a gynecologist and did some blood and urine tests. In the test report my wife TSH shows 10.6 which is beyond the normal range of 2 to 4.68. We called the doctor and they said to please consult with the nearest physician for TSH treatment to start, but due to lockdown the nearest physician is not available. Please suggest any medicine for TSH control? I have attached the test report. Is there any further abnormality? Please do the needful. Thank you.
