I have done a CBC test recently and the reports are normal, but a few platelet indices are high, specifically MPV and PCT. Please check my report. What does this mean? Is it normal or do I need further evaluation?

High MPV (mean platelet volume) indicates larger, active platelets. PCT (plateletcrit) is high more platelets in volume. Can be post infection or reactive. If the rest of CBC is normal and no symptoms, no treatment is needed. Recheck after 1 to2 months if concerned.

My father, who is diabetic, has been suffering from chronic cough for some time, especially in cool air. Recently, he developed high fever, and the doctor diagnosed him with pneumonia, prescribing tablets and syrup. He experienced relief from the cough for 2 days, but now he has a persistent dry cough that sometimes prevents him from sleeping at night. I have fever with stomach ache and start to sweat then doze off to sleep. I got a blood report which shows typhoid and I am on medication.

I am 19 weeks pregnant. This is my blood report. In pregnancy, do these levels normally increase? Is it concerning? I have no previous history. Previously, I was on Duphaston and Texid. Currently, I am taking Ecosprin, LMWH 0.4 ml, Susten, and some multivitamins.
