I have not gotten my period even after taking Meprate, and it is now 15 days late. My pregnancy test is negative. What could be the reason, and what should I do next?
Answered by 1 Apollo Doctors
Meprate usually induces periods within 5to10 days after stopping. Delay may be due to hormonal imbalance or stress. Repeat a Beta hCG blood test to confirm pregnancy status. Do hormone profile including TSH, Prolactin, and FSH. Get a Pelvic Ultrasound to rule out PCOS or other causes.
Dr. Yusuf Suggests...
Take a Beta HCG Test Test or Take a TSH Test (Thyroid Stimulating Hormone) Test

My last period was on 5th August, but I did not get my period by 5th Sept. I visited a doctor, and she prescribed Prevent N tablet for 3 days, but my period did not start by 9th Sept, so I did a serum hCG test, which came back as less than 1.20 mIU/mL. Even today, I still have not had my period. What should I do next?
