I have spinal stenosis with a 5.5 mm AP diameter at L4-L5 disc and I'm not sure whether to see a neurosurgeon or an orthopedist if surgery is needed. Also, would a laminotomy or laminectomy be better for my condition?

I've been having spine and vein pain for the last 6 months and the vein seems crushed. The pain in my spinal area is persistent and doctors recommended surgery. I had a TLIF surgery for my lumbar spine a year ago but still have constant pain that won't go away even after doing all the recommended exercises.
