I missed my period and underwent a beta hCG test, which came back positive with a result of 161. After 2 days, I repeated the test, and the level decreased to 96. Does this mean I am having a miscarriage? If yes, will it happen naturally, or do I need to take any medication for it? Please help.

A fall in Beta hCG from 161 to 96 in 2 days suggests a failing pregnancy or early miscarriage (chemical pregnancy). Most early miscarriages complete naturally without needing medication. You may experience bleeding similar to your period within a few days. Monitor for heavy bleeding (soaking more than 2 pads/hour), severe pain, or fever. Seek immediate care if these occur. You can book a repeat Beta hCG after 7 days to confirm that levels return to negative, indicating complete miscarriage.

Today is the expected day of my period, but I have not gotten it yet. Can I take a pregnancy test tomorrow morning, and will it give an accurate result?

My beta HCG chemiluminescence serum test report shows a result of 11.70 mIU/ml. I took the test on the 5th day of my missed period. What does this result indicate?
