I really feel like I can't catch my breath sometimes, even though my PFT and spirometry tests came back normal. I dont have any issues with wheezing or coughing, and my IgE test was normal too. What could be causing this feeling of suffocation?

View allI've had asthma since I was a kid, and I used to be on Budecort 200 daily and Asthalin occasionally. But over time, I stopped using inhalers. Now, I find myself getting a wheezing cough maybe five or six times a year. Is it a good idea to start using inhalers again, or should I avoid them? I'm really hesitant to go back on them. What do you think?
Yes,continue same treatment as advised by the physician.Patient is advised tab levocetrizine 10 mg orally,at bedtime for 5 days .

Ive been dealing with this dry cough for the last 20 days and even after taking some medicines, it just wont go away. Im really worried and unsure what to do next. Could you give me some advice or suggest what might be going on?
Persistent dry cough may require a different approach. You can try taking Benadryl (Diphenhydramine) 25mg every 6 hours as needed for cough. Additionally, you can use Robitussin DM (Dextromethorphan and Guaifenesin) 10ml every 4-6 hours as needed for cough. Make sure to stay hydrated and consider using a humidifier to help soothe your throat.

I'm really worried because I've been told that my pleural effusion is due to TB. Is this type of TB something others can catch from me? Also, how long does it typically take to get better from this?
all tuberculosis are contagious , it depends on severity of tuberculosis
