I recently found out I have typhoid and I'm on medication for it, but I've also lost almost 8 kgs of weight. Is this something that's normal with typhoid, or should I be worried about this weight loss?

I'm wondering if I should still get the swine flu vaccine even though I've already taken antiflu capsules as my doctor prescribed. Does taking the medicine mean I'm protected from swine flu, or is the vaccine still necessary?
