I recently got an HRCT scan of my chest, and the results showed minimal ground glass haziness in the posterior parts of both lungs, especially in the dependent zones. It also mentioned some small lymph nodes near the trachea and a few other places. I'm trying to understand what all this means. Should I be worried?

minimal haziness and small lymph nodes, especially if not associated with other symptoms, often do not indicate serious problems but should still be monitored.
If you have any chronic symptoms (like a cough, difficulty breathing, fever, or weight loss), or if the doctor suggests any follow-up, its important to follow their advice closely.

View allI'm really worried about my father. About ten days ago, he had a fever, but thankfully, it's been gone for the last five days. However, his SpO2 levels are really concerningthey drop to around 52-55 when he's sleeping and are only 85-92 while he's awake, no matter whether it's day or night. He's been snoring for years now. He weighs about 90 kg. His HRCT done on May 7th showed a score of 1125. He doesn't have any other symptoms like coughing, headache, body pain, or loss of taste or smell. Currently, he's taking Megmacer 1gm, Pdsolon 40, Alcorab 20, and Megclid. What should I do?
I recommend continuing with these medications. Additionally, to help improve his breathing and oxygen levels, I suggest adding a bronchodilator like Seroflo inhaler twice a day and a CPAP machine for his snoring and sleep apnea. It would also be beneficial for him to consult with a pulmonologist for further evaluation and management of his respiratory issues. Regular monitoring of his Spo2 levels and follow-up with healthcare provider is essential to ensure his condition improves.

I'm an asthmatic and usually use Foracort 200 rotacaps during my asthma attacks. But every time after I use it, I feel really weak, like I can't even hold a glass, and I get super sleepy for almost 12 hours. It's quite concerning and I can't figure out why this is happening. Can you help me understand?

I'm having a really hard time breathing normally. I used to smoke regularly, but I've quit that habit recently. Now, when I breathe, it feels like the muscles on the left side of my chest are stretching, and I can't seem to breathe properly. I've also stopped drinking alcohol, which I did before. One side of my nose seems to work okay, but the other side doesn't. Could this be related to quitting smoking or something else?
