I recently had an ECG and felt really nervous during the test. The report mentioned "sinus tachycardia otherwise normal ECG." Should I be worried about this?

Sinus tachycardia is a condition where the heart beats faster than normal. In most cases, it is a normal response to stress, anxiety, or exercise. Since your ECG report shows sinus tachycardia but is otherwise normal, there is likely no cause for concern. However, if you continue to experience symptoms such as palpitations, dizziness, or chest pain, it would be advisable to follow up with your healthcare provider. No specific medication is needed for sinus tachycardia, but managing stress and anxiety can help.

I'm having this issue where I feel chest tightness when I'm lying on my back, but it's fine when I sleep on my side. Is this something I should be concerned about? Could it be related to anxiety or some other health issue? I'm really worried and need some guidance.

Chest tightness when lying on your back that improves when you sleep on your side could be related to several factors, such as musculoskeletal issues, gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), or anxiety. To determine the cause, it would be best to consult with your healthcare provider. They can perform a thorough evaluation and may suggest lifestyle modifications, such as avoiding large meals before bedtime, elevating the head of your bed, or addressing anxiety through relaxation techniques or therapy. Your doctor can also rule out any serious cardiac or pulmonary conditions.

I'm having chest pain that's really concerning me. When I press the center of my chest with my finger, it hurts, and sometimes I feel pain on the left and right sides too, but other times there's no pain at all. Even when I cough, it's like the pain flares up in my chest. Lately, I've also been experiencing some back pain. I have had diabetes for the past 10 years and have been on Novamix 30 insulin. Could you suggest any medication or remedies for relief?
