I recently had my uterus polyp removed on the 23rd, and I started my period after three weeks. It's now the fourth day, and I feel like I'm still bleeding, but I'm not sure if it's regular period flow. Normally, my cycle used to last 5 days, but for the past two months, it's extended to 7 days. Typically, by the fourth day, my period would be much lighter, but now there's still a flow, and I'm uncertain if it's just part of the period or actual bleeding. I'm currently taking antibiotics and infection medication after the procedure. Is this normal after having a DC for polyp removal, or should I check in with my gynecologist?

Its normal to experience some changes in your cycle after a D&C or polyp removal, as your body is still recovering. However, if the bleeding seems heavier than usual or if you're feeling uncertain, its always best to consult your gynecologist to ensure everything is healing properly and to rule out any complications.
