I recently had sex with a prostitute and even though I was using a condom, it ended up staying inside her after I ejaculated. I went and got an HIV test and it came back negative, but I'm still a bit anxious. Should I consider taking Post Exposure Prophylaxis?

Delayed Period, Clomid Treatment, and Positive Pregnancy Test
Positive Pregnancy Test
- Congratulations: The positive pregnancy test suggests you are likely pregnant.
- Estimated Gestational Age: Based on your last menstrual period (LMP) and assuming a regular 28-day cycle, your estimated gestational age would be around 10-11 weeks.
Clomid Treatment and Multiple Cysts
- Clomid stimulation: Clomid can stimulate the ovaries, leading to multiple follicles and cysts.
- Ovarian cysts: The presence of 5 cysts in your ovaries is likely a result of Clomid stimulation.
Meprate (Medroxyprogesterone) and Pregnancy
- Meprate use: Meprate is often used to support early pregnancy and prevent miscarriage.
- Side effects: Common side effects of Meprate include dizziness, headache, and breast tenderness.
- Pregnancy safety: Meprate is generally considered safe during early pregnancy.
Next Steps
- Schedule an appointment: Visit your gynecologist as soon as possible to confirm the pregnancy and discuss further management.
- Ultrasound scan: Your doctor may recommend an ultrasound scan to confirm the pregnancy, check for any complications, and estimate the gestational age.
- Prenatal care: Begin prenatal care, including regular check-ups, blood tests, and ultrasound scans, to monitor your health and the baby's development.
Hypothyroidism Management
- Thyroid hormone levels: Monitor your thyroid hormone levels (TSH, T3, and T4) regularly during pregnancy.

View allI'm really worried about tuberculous lymphadenitis. Is it something that can spread from one person to another? If that's the case, could you explain how it happens? I'm just trying to understand the risks better.
Yes, tuberculous lymphadenitis is a contagious disease caused by the bacteria Mycobacterium tuberculosis. It can spread from one person to another through the air when an infected person coughs or sneezes. It is important to seek medical treatment to prevent the spread of the disease. Treatment usually involves a combination of antibiotics such as Rifampicin, Isoniazid, Pyrazinamide, and Ethambutol for several months.

I just got my dad's blood test report and it says IGG is negative, IGM is positive, and the NS1 antigen is negative. I'm kind of worried and wondering, does this mean he might have Dengue virus? Could you help me understand these results?

I'm really worried and need some advice. I had an Elisa HIV 1 and 2 test done 21 days after a possible exposure, and it came back negative at 0.006. Is that result conclusive, or should I think about getting tested again in 2 or 3 months? I only had oral sex and kissed the lips of a sex worker quite a few times. Am I still at risk?
