I recently had a urine routine test done for my visa medical examination, but I was on my periods at that time. Can menstruation affect the results of the urine test?

Yes, menstrual blood can affect urine test results by showing false blood, protein, or cells. Best to repeat after menstruation.

My blood sugar was around 342 (average of the last three months), and because of this, I have been having a burning sensation while urinating for the past two months. I have already started medications for blood sugar. As per my last check, my fasting blood sugar was 89, and the average of the last three months with medication is 250. Hence, the medicines are working, but I am not getting relief from the burning sensation. I am taking Neftas as suggested by my doctor, and I feel fine while on it, but after 3 to 4 days of stopping Neftas, the burning sensation returns. Please suggest what I am missing and why I am having this issue repeatedly?
