I recently started taking cepodem xp 325, along with Sinarest and a nasal spray. I'm curious about something I've read that the nasal spray works for about 12 hours, but when would be a good time to do steam inhalation after using the spray? I've been having a slight nose block that keeps switching from one nostril to the other. Also, I've noticed some leg pain but no cough or fever. Just trying to figure out the best way to manage this. Any advice?

It is generally recommended to wait at least 1-2 hours after using a nasal spray before doing steam inhalation. This allows the nasal spray to take effect and reduces the risk of washing it out too soon. You can do steam inhalation around 5-6 hours after using the nasal spray Flutiflo to help with your slight nose blockage. Make sure to follow the instructions provided with the nasal spray and steam inhalation for best results. For your symptoms of slight nose blockage on and off, with no cough, fever, or sore throat, along with slight leg pain, continue using Cepodem XP 325 for the infection and Sinarest for symptom relief. Additionally, you can use Flutiflo nasal spray as prescribed for your nasal symptoms. Make sure to take Cepodem XP 325 as directed by your healthcare provider and follow the recommended dosage for Sinarest and Flutiflo as well. If your symptoms persist or worsen, consult with your healthcare provider for further evaluation and management.

I'm 17 and getting a tonsillectomy around March 6th or 7th but my period is due on the 5th. I'm worried about having surgery during my period. Is there a way to prepone my periods so it doesn't clash with the surgery date?

Having surgery during your period won't affect the outcome of your tonsillectomy, but it can be uncomfortable. While there are methods to prepone your period, it's best to consult with your doctor or a gynecologist to discuss the risks and benefits of doing so. According to PRMA, experienced medical personnel are used to dealing with this and can provide you with sanitary products if needed

I'm currently taking Augmentin 625 and Doxolin 400, but my throat infection is still not getting better. I started Montemac FX today and also began Atorvastatin for my high cholesterol. My chest is clear, though I've got this annoying cough. I'm using Betadine gargle, but I'm really looking for something to get fast relief for my throat. Any suggestions on what I can do?

I see that you are already taking Augmentin 625 for the infection, Doxolin 400 for the cough, Montemac FX for the throat infection, and Atorvastatin for high cholesterol. Since you are still experiencing throat infection and cough, I recommend adding an over-the-counter antitussive such as Benadryl Cough Syrup to help with the cough. Additionally, you can try steam inhalation with a few drops of eucalyptus oil to help soothe your throat. Make sure to continue with the Betadine gargle as prescribed. If your symptoms persist or worsen, please follow up with your family doctor for further evaluation and management.
