I recently went trekking and while coming down the hill, I found about five leeches on my leg. I pulled them off, and there was some blood flow, so I applied antiseptic. It's been 7 days since, and one of the bite areas is now swollen and painful. The area feels quite hard too. What should I do? Any advice would be really helpful.

View allI've been dealing with really rough and dry skin on one of my fingers for the past two years. It almost looks like cracked drought land when I look closely. Sometimes it gets itchy too. What could be causing this, and what can I do about it?
You may be experiencing a condition called eczema. I recommend using a moisturizing cream containing 1% hydrocortisone to help with the dryness and itching. You can apply it to the affected area twice a day for up to 2 weeks. Additionally, you can use a gentle cleanser and avoid harsh soaps to prevent further irritation. If the symptoms persist, it is best to consult a dermatologist for further evaluation and management.

I've been dealing with multiple lipomas on my hands and thighs and I'm really hoping there's a treatment option besides surgery. I tried homeopathic medicine before but didn't see any improvement - are there other effective treatments I could explore?
Surgery is the most effective option for multiple lipomas; non-surgical treatments have limited results.
