I swallowed warm food too quickly and now my esophagus is really hurting every time I cough or try to eat or drink something. Is this normal, and should I be worried? What can I do to make it stop hurting?

I understand your concern and frustration.
The buzzing sound (tinnitus) and tragus pain after earwax removal could be due to:
- Ear canal irritation
- Middle ear muscle spasms
- Temporary nerve sensitivity
Consult your ENT doctor again to discuss:
- Further examination and treatment
- Tinnitus management options (e.g., sound therapy, counseling)
- Pain relief measures (e.g., topical anesthetics, warm compresses)
Remember, tinnitus can be managed, and symptoms may improve with time and proper care.

View allI'm using Himalaya Gasex tablets without a prescription. Is it safe for me to continue doing this?
Using Himalaya Gasex tablets without a doctor's prescription can be relatively safe for short-term use, as they contain natural ingredients like simethicone, dill oil, and caraway oil, which help alleviate gas, bloating, and indigestion; however, long-term or excessive use can interact with other medications or worsen underlying conditions,

I've been dealing with chronic gastritis since October 2013, but back then my liver tests were normal and my liver fibroscan didn't show any issues. Recently, my lab results showed total bilirubin at 1.46 with direct at 0.36 and indirect at 1.10, SGOT at 22.90, and SGPT at 28.30. Ive been taking Rekool10 for a few months as well as avas 10 since February 2015 for cholesterol and olsartan AM 205. Should I be worried about my liver or these test results? How is this connected to my ongoing gastritis problem? Just want to make sure I'm not missing anything here.
. You are taking dyslipedemic tablet, anti hypertensive ,gastritis has to be managed with changed lifestyle and diet.. You have to avoid fatty foods , restrict salt intake.. Have buttermilk, curd rice in each meal... Drink lot of water.. Moderate physical activity is required for any human.

I'm feeling fit and have no pain, but my pre-employment test showed my SPGT is 75 and SGOT is 40. The examiner suggested I take Udiliv 300 twice a day. Could you please tell me how long it might take to get these levels back to normal if I follow a balanced diet and abstain from alcohol? I don't drink often, so I'm wondering about my career prospects with these results. Should I consider taking Liv.52 DS instead?
SGPT and SGOT are mildly elevated and you are non alcoholic. We need to rule out other causes. A detailed Medical history including your height and weight, diet history, recent history of fever and jaundice may help us to guide you accordingly. There are ways to evaluate it. You may need to get few investigations based on history to make a diagnosis. LIV52 is an ayurvedic preparation and so I may not comment on it. About udiliv it has got some specific indications.
