I swallowed warm food too quickly and now my esophagus is really hurting every time I cough or try to eat or drink something. Is this normal, and should I be worried? What can I do to make it stop hurting?

I understand your concern and frustration.

The buzzing sound (tinnitus) and tragus pain after earwax removal could be due to:

  • Ear canal irritation
  • Middle ear muscle spasms
  • Temporary nerve sensitivity

Consult your ENT doctor again to discuss:

  • Further examination and treatment
  • Tinnitus management options (e.g., sound therapy, counseling)
  • Pain relief measures (e.g., topical anesthetics, warm compresses)

Remember, tinnitus can be managed, and symptoms may improve with time and proper care.

I'm really concerned about this chest heaviness I've been experiencing since recovering from COVID. It mostly hits me in the evenings, and I've also been dealing with some gastric issues. There's no pain or trouble breathing, but my gastroenterologist told me to try breathing exercises and meditation. I've been using Ulgel A for about a month and a half now whenever I feel the heaviness. Could you give me some advice or insights on what's going on?

Seroflo inhaler sos for breathing difficulty is advised to the patient.

I'm dealing with a fatty liver grade 2 or 3, and I'm wondering if it's reversible. I'm really eager to lose some weight and improve my condition. Could you suggest what steps I should take or if there's a specific diet I should follow? Would also love some advice on finding a good dietitian.

I'm feeling some tightness in my throat that started about 23 weeks ago. There's no pain, and I can swallow and eat without any issues, but it constantly feels like something's stuck in there. Could this be from muscle tightness or maybe something gastric? It's been more than two weeks now, and I'm wondering what I should do next. Which type of doctor should I consult for this? Also, I live around Haralur Road and Sarjapur Road in Bangaloreany nearby doctor recommendations would be really helpful.

It is possible that the sensation of tightness in your throat could be due to muscle tightness or a gastric issue such as acid reflux. To help alleviate this symptom, you can try taking Omeprazole 20mg once daily before breakfast for 2 weeks. Additionally, you can use Gaviscon syrup 10-15ml after meals and at bedtime as needed for relief. If the symptoms persist after trying these medications, you may consult an ENT specialist (Ear, Nose, and Throat) for further evaluation
