I took an HIV RNA PCR test at a diagnostic centre after 90 days of exposure, and the result was negative. Can the HIV RNA PCR result be inaccurate depending on the diagnostic centre? Does the reliability of the result vary between centres, and how important is it that the centre is certified for HIV RNA PCR testing? Please guide me.

HIV RNA PCR accuracy is high after 90 days. Certified labs show consistent results. Negative test means likely uninfected. Repeat only if lab is questionable. Discuss concerns with a doctor.

What does exposure mean? Which period counts as the exposure period? Also, what is the window period, and is three months sufficient for a conclusive HIV test result?

I had sex only once, and I used a condom. But my report says HIV reactive. How is this possible? I know people who have sex often yet they are not HIV positive. Just one time and I am positive? I am really disturbed. What should I do now?
