S. Para Typhi AH: 1:320 (Negative)
S. Para Typhi BH: 1:320 (Negative)
Other Tests:
Malaria Antigen (Rapid, whole blood): Negative
Dengue IgG: Negative
Dengue IgM: Negative
Dengue NS1 Antigen: Negative
Is this typhoid infection severe, moderate, or mild? What treatment should we follow? Does she need hospitalization? Are there any common medicines to take and any recommended changes in food and water habits?

I was diagnosed with typhoid and admitted to a hospital for two days, but I did not experience any typical symptoms of typhoid apart from a mild fever that lasted for one week. My Widal test report showed Typhoid H and S at 1:80. Could this mean I was truly suffering from typhoid?

I visited the hospital this morning and received my lab report. It shows that my Salmonella typhi H antibody titer is 1:40.

Titre of 1:40 is a weak positive. Could be early or past infection. If symptomatic, treatment may be started. Blood culture gives a clearer diagnosis.
