I was admitted to the hospital for a bedsore about 10 days ago and was given antibiotics. The heel is healing slowly but some parts still don't seem fully healed. The doctors initially mentioned plastic surgery but later said it should get better on its own. Should I keep taking the antibiotics or switch to betadine ointment now? The wound looks better but not completely closed.

View allI've been dealing with pretty bad acne on my cheeks lately, with new pimples popping up almost every other day. These turn into pus-filled spots and end up leaving some dark marks behind. The skin in that area seems almost lifeless now, with open pores that easily turn into blackheads and whiteheads. Whenever I try to deal with those, it often leads to more pimples or even injuries. Is there anything I can do to improve this situation? I'm 36 and I'm currently using Tivenca gel, Divaine 50 mg tablets twice daily, Ahaglow face wash, and a CDC solution with calamine, sulphur, and salicylic acid, along with Episoft. Does this sound like the right approach or should I be doing something different?

I've had these milia seeds on my eyelids for as long as I can remember, like 56 years, and no doctor has been able to really help me out over this past year. I've even tried some laser treatments that were supposed to work by burning off the top layer of skin, but they just keep coming back. Is there any actual solution for this? Also, what's causing them in the first place? It's been pretty frustrating, and I just want to know if there's anything else I can try or understand why they keep reappearing.
Consider consulting a dermatologist for alternative treatments like manual extraction, micro-needling, or chemical peels, and adopt preventative measures such as gentle skin care, regular exfoliation, sun protection, and a healthy lifestyle to manage persistent milia seeds on your eyelids.

I've taken an HIV rapid test three months after possible exposure, and the result came back negative. Is this result definitive, or is it advisable to have another test done?
you are highly likely to be HIV-negative. There is usually no need for additional testing unless you have new concerns or exposures.
