I was at the doctor today and they prescribed me isotroin 20mg capsules. I'm really curious about what side effects I might experience with this tablet. Are there any benefits I should be aware of as well?

View allI've been having this really annoying itching problem all over my body that only seems to happen at night. I saw a doctor about it and took the medication they prescribed, but the itching came back. I'm taking cetirizine to try and help with the symptoms, but it's still bothering me a lot. I recently moved to Chennai about 5 months ago. Could this change be affecting me somehow, or is there something else I should consider? Any advice would be appreciated.

I've been dealing with this hivesurticaria issue for the past 8 months and it's been really frustrating. Is there any effective treatment for this kind of allergy? I've seen several doctors already, but nothing seems to work. Do you have any advice?

I've been dealing with this pitryasis rosea thing since last week. The doctor said it might take a few months to clear up and gave me some mild soap and lotion. But now the first rashes are turning brown and feel bumpy and scaly. It's like I can feel them raised on my skin. They look really bad, and it doesn't seem like they're going away anytime soon. Is this normal? What should I expect, and is there anything else I can do?
It is normal for the rash in pityriasis rosea to evolve over time, with the initial rash often becoming darker in color and developing a scaly texture. To help alleviate the symptoms and promote healing, you can consider using a mild corticosteroid cream like Hydrocortisone 1% twice a day on the affected areas. Additionally, taking an antihistamine like Cetirizine 10mg once daily can help with any itching. Make sure to continue using the prescribed mild soap and lotion as well. If the symptoms persist or worsen, consult your doctor for further evaluation and management.
