I was recently diagnosed with acne vulgaris and my doctor prescribed Doxycycline lactic acid bacillus 100 mg for two months. I'm concerned about whether it's safe to take this medication for that long. Is there anything I should watch out for or be aware of while taking it?

Doxycycline (100 mg) for 2 months is a standard treatment for acne vulgaris, and when combined with Lactic Acid Bacillus, it is generally considered safe, but monitor for potential side effects like gastrointestinal upset, photosensitivity, and antibiotic resistance.

View allI'm dealing with an infected sebaceous cyst, and I've noticed it's about the size of a 20p coin. I've been using Bactroban for about 5 days now, and I'm seeing slow progress, if any, with it. Before I knew what it was, I was using sea salt, and it seemed to work a bit better. I'm wondering if it's okay to use both the Bactroban and sea salt at the same time. I think the salt helps dry it out, but I'm concerned it might interfere with how the Bactroban works. What do you think?

I'm having a lot of trouble with itching and cuts on the skin of my scrotum, even though I've tried using different ointments. It's frustrating because the skin keeps getting dry and the cuts keep coming back. What can I do to finally get rid of this dryness and heal these cuts?
That could be fungal infection which needs both oral and topical antifungal medications and personal hygiene is more important for such condition.

I've noticed a fungal infection on the skin of my testicles. Is it okay if I use a fungal cream like Ebernet for this?
For a fungal infection on the testicle skin, using an antifungal cream like Ebernet (containing econazole or clotrimazole) can be effective in treating the infection.
